in this era of ate-up government officials, politicized news, etc Julie is a breath of fresh air. Not only should she be reinstated, she deserves a raise. Bravo Julie

She doesn't deserve to get fired for doing a hand stand! And her 'colleagues' need a life if they cannot see that people also need a smile - within "the news!"

Thank you so much Julie Tremmel for making me laugh! We need some laughter and if they keep giving you these fluff stories, you have every right to do whatever you want with them. You really should become an actress. You are beautiful and talented. There is a reason you are getting noticed. Your bear piece was HILARIOUS! I totally needed a laugh today! Take your talent and fly!

Lighten up, firing Julie was over the top and ridiculous! Ever heard of a sense of humor?

She does lighthearted fun pieces. Does everything need to be somber?

Just because you're miserable doesn't mean others have to be!

Julie is an original and entertaining presence. If anyone should be fired it's the station management who found it "newsworthy" that a network show was coming to town.

Finally someone to break up the monotony of mostly boring local news, and you fire her. Gould job WJAR! Time to check out WLNE. Don't worry Julie, you've got bigger fish to fry.

Maybe, Julie's too much for the evening news. Then give her a MORE PROMINENT job. A star is born! Now, where's that bear?
