I think that what she did was OK as I didn't see any harm at all 2 the handstand. If that is the reason 4 her firing then it is unjustified. But let's face facts, her employer will never admit that as the cause as it is job discrimination. I bet money that the station that runs the news program has allowed alot of other things 2 pass that are even serious, which I again say this is not one of those. I say she should be reinstated and that the station apologize 2 both her & us it's viewers, and do that publically.

I think she great with all the death, murder and war in the news it is nice to see a little fun that brings smiles as people watch the news and as for Veteran WJAR investigative reporter Jim Taricani he only wished that people liked him as mutch as we all love her

The handstand was innocent. Clearly someone in management has it in for her.

I watch WJAR because they are not so serious and can enjoy a laugh (see Alison Bologna and Dan Jaehnig). Won't watch without Julie! Bye bye channel 10.

NBC you fired Julie because she had a talent she wanted to share with the very people that watch NBC. Until Julie comes back I won't be watching NBC.

this is stupid you must give a reason for fiering some one it is the law in every state not only that it is the humain thing to do. what kind of a public station would do this to some one. I am tired of them constantly firering people just for little things like this thinking they are saving their station from humiliation when in fact they bring more turmoil and humiliation to them selv es by doung this to them selves. wow what a blunder "BRING HER BACK' I don tlive in your state but I do watch on the internet and until you do bring her back I will no ,longer watch.Nor will I Visit your state again so it isw time the chamber of commedrce steps in your causing people not to want to visit your state. and let me tell you I am vedry very very close to you in Vermont. I will bring this up at one of our sesions and ask then m to boycot you for breach of public trust. I think they just might do it we love Canadians here and they also will listen.so it will suck to be you.
