Jazz is America's Original Art Form. Jazz is timeless, it is pure and it is worthy of specific and individual recognition in catagories of performance and composition to say the least. Please restore Jazz to the Grammy show and show proper respect to the genre. Thank you.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Jazz records don't sell. There are several vibrant British labels still producing Jazz and Big Band Swing, whose owners inform me that business is still good. However it would appear that the American labels have given up the ghost, but the British labels export much of what they produce to America, which is all very strange bearing in mind that the US is (was) the home of jazz.
