Petition to bring Ibrahim home - Urgent Action needed mass trial 12 August 2014

We the undersigned are asking the Egyptian Ambassador and The Minster for Justice to intervene to ensure Ibrahim Halawa is given a fair trial and returned home on 12 August.

On this date 482 defendants will be put on trial collectively with selective access to justice. This means that Ibrahim will not have guaranteed access to justice. He will not be given the opportunity to put his case forward, to cross examine witnesses or to scrutinise the evidence against him.

Please sign the below petition to support Abra him and his family and to ensure justice for a Dubliner.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and the momentum is just incredible. It feels like people are finally starting to grasp the urgency of this situation because seeing so many names pop up makes me feel like maybe Ibrahim is not going to be forgotten after all.

This is outrageous and has been going on for far too long. Bring this young man home!

The detention fellow Irishman Mr Halawa is, by any civilised standard, completely illegal and unjust. The Egyptian Government should release him forthwith if it does not wish to viewed as a mere State Tyrant that deserves the contempt of any person who desired justice and freedom in our world.

How is this still happening? He is just a boy and needs to be back with his family in Dublin immediately.

This is outrageous - 3 years and no trial - he needs to be released
