Final supporters
Townsville should have the choice to have a Hooters not an interest group from Sydney with no involvement in the Townsville community. Give us the choice ! don’t make it for us !
Hooters is a family friendly restaurant with great food including the BEST chicken wings you will ever have. It is also the ideal place to watch sports on one of many large flat screen TV’s in a great atmosphere. THIS IS WINNING !
Hooters contributes to the community and has raised more than $13 Million for local charities including the the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Western Sydney, Paradise Kids on the Gold Coast , the Sylvanvale Foundation in Sydney's Shire and breast cancer awareness.
Hooters also provides partnership opportunities for sporting clubs around Australia. Over all if you are in support of letting us the people of Townsville decide on where we take our families to eat and where we can enjoy a beer opposed to a out of town interest group from SYDNEY telling us what to do...SIGN THE PETITION !

I am honestly blown away by how many of you stepped up to back this. We are nearing the five hundred mark and it is all thanks to your efforts to keep our town in control of its own choices. If you can help us cross that line today it would really show those groups in Sydney that we mean business.

Let's see if we can win one against the fun police and wowsers who want us all to return to the 1940s and 50s.
Sick of Sydney telling us what we can have up here. Let us have a decent place to grab wings and watch the footy.
The interest group from Sydney should mind their own business it is not for them to decide whether Townsville wants Hooters or not. They do not like Hooters thats their problem not ours, stay in Sydney
Bring hooters to townsville, it will create jobs and promote other big name retaurants etc to come here
Definately bring hooters to Townsville. Will help put Townsville better on the map and brings variety here

I enjoyed the service and food at Hooters on the Gold Coast before its demise. I look forward to one in Townsville with the same standard
