I think it is quite ridiculous that, due to this new traffic pattern, there are almost 20-60 kids late every other day. The traffic is always backed up and students can not get into school on time. From personal experience, I left my house at 7:15 (I live 2.5 miles away) and did not get to school until 7:45. Then I tried leaving earlier at 7 the next day, and the same result occurred. Some students live farther than I do and considering we can't even be in the school until 7:25, we cannot leave too early to try and time the traffic. Having homeroom, like old times and like every other school in the district, will make our lives easier as well as the teachers.
