It would be nice to spend my money in my county. Driving far and wide for certain restaurants is an inconvenience!

The most affluent black county in the country should be able to provide what its residents demand. If these stores do not want to come to our county, then let them know that you will launch a county wide boycott of these stores. These retailers know that Prince George's County residents will go out of the county to shop at their stores so there are no incentives to bring their stores to our county. I for one refuse to spend my money in other counties a majority of the time. It is a shame that the dollar stays only 6 hours in the black community while 17 days in White, 25 days in Jewish, 30 days in Asian communities. We are helping the economic growth of other counties/communities but not our own. So to help grow the economy and development of Prince George's County, please ensure that you listen and adhere to the requests and voice of your residents. This petition represents the voice of many Prince Georgians even if this petition is only signed by a few. From a resident who loves and only wants the best for Prince George's County. Next is to start a petition to keep our county clean. It's too dirty.

This caliber of retail and restaurants are absolutely necessary. My age group (30s) would love to pour money into neighborhoods we have purchased property in versus taking our dollars to other areas of the DMV.

I would love to see central Prince George’s County gain a quailty shopping/dining hub. It will provide huge benefits of bringing the community together and keeping consumer dollars within the county.

The name could use some work. I wish it could just remain the BLVD. But I’m happy to see this kind of change come to our county.
