Greek life CAN NOT be implemented in a way that does not conform to larger systems of oppression. Don't be apart of the black flag society alongside the crimes Greek Life brings to society. Attending SCAD is the best experience in itself, you don't need suggestions of this mundane organization which will just bring sexual harassment, death threats, and mental between groups to SCAD. Go look at the problems students have at Universities, and go look how many of those problems were started by someone embedded in this Greek nonsense. If you want a band of brotherhood amongst these lunatics who think Frats are positive, then go find real brotherhood and join the military.

This should be a thing. The art field is small and social connections are extremely important when it comes time to find a job. Having some greek life would be great to help some students make some bonds that they otherwise would never have.

Connections is the best tool when it comes to getting a job in most art fields, greek life is amazing for building bonds and connections with people who you otherwise may never speak too.
Take a step back from your personal feelings and try to make an attempt to look at some benefits.

This would actually be great to bring to SCAD. I went to SCAD for two years, was a graphic design major and excelled there. I transferred to another college solely because all the people at SCAD seemed to think that "preppier people" and art school were a non existent combo. I'm now at a school still doing graphic design and photography AND in a sorority, a part of national honor society, and on their equestrian team. Also for all of you who believe that sororities/fraternities are just like the movies you're wrong and please don't try to say that I'm wrong because last time I checked I was in one and you aren't. It would bring another place for people that aren't the typical "SCAD Artsy student" to feel welcomed there.
