Bring free public Montessori schools to Aurora, Colorado!
Do you want to see more public Montessori options in the Denver metro area?Although Dr. Maria Montessori opened the very first Montessori program in a historically marginalized community in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century, Montessori education has become less and less accessible to families from all racial, socio-economic, and geographical backgrounds, particularly in the United States. Wildflower Montessori Public Schools of Colorado is hoping to contribute to the movement for accessible public Montessori by opening its first charter school program in Aurora, Colorado in Fall 2023. Sign our petition to support this effort!
***Additionally, if you are a parent, guardian, or community member in the Aurora area looking for more child-centered school choice options in your community, you can help bring public Montessori to your community by filing out this short form! Our charter Montessori micro-schools in Northwest and Southeast Aurora will serve 200 Pre-K through 6th grade students at full enrollment, and the first schools are scheduled to open in Fall 2023 serving children ages 3-7 (preK-2nd grade). All families who fill out the interest form by March 14 will be the first to know when the formal enrollment process begins and be invited to help Wildflower design a 1-2 room school for your community.
