My baby brother was taken from my family two years ago by DSS, this happens to be the same DSS I was able to get my son (nephew) from. I have court on September 15th to get him to come live with me and Amanda. I am begging everyone, please, to sign this or write letters to the judge that my baby brother deserves to be with family. He does not need to be with the state any longer. He needs to be home with me. Yes, he has made mistakes, but he is a kid. You live and learn. Evan is like my child. I was there for him his whole life. I want him to be with me because he looks at me like a mom. He turns 18 on May 13th, 2016. Why are they insisting on keeping him in state custody? Oh, that's right. The money they all want.
We are writing letters as well as this petition. Please, sign this or write a letter.

Seeing this kind of movement is exhausting but it gives me a reason to keep fighting for Evan. I am just trying to hold it together until we actually get him back where he belongs.

Hey i just wanted to you know i know how it feels i was took 13 years ago from my parents my mom died when i was 6 and now im trying to get home to my dad but dss wont let me i wish the best for you!!!
Evan should have never left! Yeah the family ran into some problems, but all family's do! They would have figured it out, TOGETHER! But they weren't given the chance, which is sad and wrong!!! Bring Evan Home!!!!!
Please allow Evan to be under the custody of his sister Megan. She will be a great influence to him and he needs to be around family. Family is everything. Megan is responsible and will do everything in her power to take care of Evan. Thank you for your time. Lyndsay Niederhuth
Though I understand the need for some children to be in foster care or wards of the state, I do find that it is also in the best interest of a child to be with willing and able biological family members.
Ive known Megan for many years, and Evan since he was a baby. Amazing people, and Megan has such a huge heart! A very deserving woman!

I use to live at the bmh. I seen Evan grow progressively from the time I arrived till the time I left.
