People worked really hard on that hallway, the staff had no right to take away our colorful hallway. It’s deemed a “distraction” just now after being up for YEARS? And there is NOTHING inappropriate about it.

I think it’s dumb that the wall is gone this is like the only thing that most of us at east agree on. All the social “outcast”, athletes, brainiacs, drama kids, etc for once we all see eye to eye on something and now our dumb school has taken that away from us.

I thought that the hallway showed that we were an above average school, and that we carried a lot of potential in fine arts. I feel that it also gave our school a sense of individuality and creativity. I think i speak for all of the students at East Jackson Comprehensive High School when I say that we should paint back over those boring, plain white walls with student work and creativity. The EJCHS staff has absolutely NO right to take away the hard work of past students. This school wanted the art there for a reason and you've destroyed what was meant to brighten the place up. Art is a passion and those kids were so happy for their artwork to be seen years and years after they graduated. Nothing is more disgraceful than squashing one thing that made this school unique.
