I think it’s dumb that the wall is gone this is like the only thing that most of us at east agree on. All the social “outcast”, athletes, brainiacs, drama kids, etc for once we all see eye to eye on something and now our dumb school has taken that away from us.
The EJCHS staff has absolutely NO right to take away the hard work of past students. This school wanted the art there for a reason and you've destroyed what was meant to brighten the place up. Art is a passion and those kids were so happy for their artwork to be seen years and years after they graduated. Nothing is more disgraceful than squashing one thing that made this school unique.
As a freshman at East Jackson High, I enjoyed viewing the colorful hallway that showcased creativity. This was the year of 2015.
Why take it away? Our school is already like a prison....cinderblock walls, rude teachers, everything. The wall made our school litterally the only nice thing there. Yea this is really gonna make us come to school now
I am behind my daughter and her petition to bring back East Jackson unique hallway full of color and memories of the students before them. I’ve walked through this hall and there is definitely something to be said about it! Why would they paint over these memories? It can never be the way it was but please sign to allow it to be redesigned by our current students and the ones after them.

Ejchs doesn't care about anything doing with fine arts. Art, band, drama etc. Taking the mural down that represented the past students that put their time and effort into shows how much they truly care. If it had anything to do with the sports they most likely wouldve kept it up.
