It seems the common denominator in all of this mess is one person. Dr. Ramos has come into this community thinking his big city ways of contempt for staff, particularly those involved in safety and security, is the way to go. The way to go is either north to Madison, south to Chicago, west to Lacrosse or east to Racine. Plenty of options for you Dr. Ramos. Pick one because Beloit cannot figure out why you picked them. A principal finalist for a middle school in Green bay recently . Dropping out of superintendent searches this year.
Why exactly is no one asking why a Milwaukee Public Schools regional superintendent would be seeking to take a middle or high school principalship? This does not just smell fishy. It is a big dead fish. Something happened in Milwaukee and it's buttoned up. Not for long....
Don't come into our town, into our schools, steal ideas from staff and put your name on them, and then ignore our culture. If you knew our culture and our contributors your hands would be off the likes of Pearl Forbes and Jim Driscoll.
This man is not here to be a contributing part of Beloit. He is here for a paycheck.
He'll be gone soon enough.
Thank you Beloit School Board yet again. As Vicky Trice said....way to treat some of your best employees. A long history of doing just that.
Your silence on this and Ms. Forbes will be remembered come election time.
Some of you need to be put out. Plain and simple.

This man is one of the greatest I have ever met he helped me out so much in high school and I couldn’t thank him enough! He go’s out of his way to help others and puts the students before himself. If that’s not a great security officer then idk what is please bring him back he is awesome

Keep Driscoll. He does his job and does it well. From the beginning of my Freshman year and up until my Graduation I’ve never seen any staff member be put on leave. Let alone 2 in the last 2 weeks. The Staff at BMHS is considerably better than a large majority of the students. Too many kids disrespect the staff there. In my opinion.

As a staff member within the district, a taxpayer in this city and former BMHS parent I ask for the return of Officer Driscoll. He worked well with everyone from parents to staff and students. He was fair and supportive of all students. I have known him a very long time. Dismissals without a warning or investigation are concerning. I am also concerned about the future for us all as he was informative and very proactive with situations and getting information into the hands of staff, students, parents, and our community immediately if not before it was needed. He had excellent communication skills with us all and this will be missed if he is not reinstated. You will not find a better person for the job.
