On may 5th 1993 three little boys in West Memphis were brutally murdered. In 1994 three teenage boys were wrongly convicted, their names were Damien echols, Charles Jason baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, Jr.
Damien echols was sentenced to death by lethal injection and spent 18yrs on death row. Thanks to support from different celebrities, muscians and documentaries. In august of 2011 all three men were finally set free from prison after serving 18yrs and 78 days. Damien worked with Sir Peter Jackson and Amy berg on the documentary West of memphis in 2012 and spent two months in New Zealand with his wife Lorri who has supported him every step of the way. This is a petition to bring Damien and his wife back to New Zealand to show them that they would not only be welcomed but will have ongoing support from the people in Aotearoa and those of us who will continue to promote the fight for all three Men's exoneration.
