We need a Costco here too! So people dont have to travel to find one, and so we can get good quality and great quantity foods and other household products we tend to need on a daily basis!

Many travel from the Kootenays to Calgary or Lethbridge to shop at Costco. I like their Kirkland brand products. I have ordered online from Costco.

We go to Costco in Kalispel as it is the closest for us. We definitely could support a Costco with the surrounding towns of Creston, Kimberley, Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford, and the Columbia Valley the numbers would be high enough to support. .

The Kootenay need Costco. This area is lacking shopping options which people will travel outside area of BC or other provinces to do Costco shopping. Having a Costco will generate numerous jobs and will draw more people from outlying communities.
