We need a Costco so bad in the Kootenays, something other then Walmart. I love the clothes and everything esle about Costco! Please bring this in:) we have been waiting way too long!

We definitely need one here, it also would help the community growth providing jobs. People in the east kootaney such as Cranbrook area would probably come to shop. There is also a boom in babies being born and more families here which I'm pretty sure most growing families Would be shopping at Costco. There's been rumours of Costco owning land in Castlegar, if so might as well break ground and bring one in

Costco would be a very welcome addition to our shopping experience in the Kootenays. The area is growing with housing starts up by a growth rate of $4.9 million over the same period last year. Castlegar is a great central spot for a retail outlet which would bring Trail, Nelson, Grand Forks, Slocan, New Denver, Nakusp, Kootenay Lake communities and Creston to the store.
