Since moving to the Kootenays we sure do miss Costco ... need one in this area forsure.

A Costco would be awesome!! Muchly needed in the area. A lot of surrpunding areas would utilize as well I'm sure as the closest Costco is in Lethbridge or Okotokes AB. We want a Costco!!!!!!

We need a Costco in the Kootenays. I am not renewing my card because the cost of renewal does not affect my cost savings for the very few times i go to Costco. I am sure this is the same with many others.

Heard a rumour years ago and still patiently waiting ... Sure would be nice to keep it more local but unfortunately, it's just not always an option with what we do have available! We sure could use a Costco in the West Kootenays ...

A Costco in Cranbrook is so needed! We travel to Alberta every couple months to stock up, if was in town would be a regular shopper. Also would sure give Walmart and Superstore good competition!

Shopping in the area is terrible at best. The "expansion" of the local walmart to bring in fresh produce is a joke resulting in a 40% reduction of all other departments, and the closing of Zellers left us with no alternative to Walmart aside from travelling to Kelowna or Cranbrook. My family has a Costco membership but as with many others in the area, the distance to Kelowna limits our Costco runs to just a few times a year. We'll truly do need a Costco in the area to give us a bit more variety. I know in our case alone a local Costco would be a regular part of our weekly or biweekly shopping. Another benefit would be a number of good paying full time jobs being created.

I think Costo would greatly benefit the West Kootenay area. We travel 4 hrs 3 to 4 times a year to Kelowna specifically to shop at Costco. If we had one in the area we would certainly shop at Costco more often.
