The West Kootenay area of B.C. desperately needs the presence of a "big box" retailer. Castlegar is the ideal location, as it is a transportation hub for the area. The catchment for the airport (with which I'm familiar) is approximately 100,000 +. With the natural draw of COSTCO this could conceivably increase significantly.
