I believe that the petition will not reach as many people in the Kooteney area who would like to Costco. I think you need to take these numbers seriously. The castlegar area is the most perfect spot for a Costco There are thousands and thousands of people and surrounding towns that will no longer have to drive three hours to a Costco as they are currently driving to Kelowna or Spokane Washington. And the people that won't drive the three hours can now actually become a Costco member.

Moving to Castlegar in the near future. Would be great to see the city to keep growing in a positive way, and Costco would be a great way to lead that growth.

I moved to Kootenay's from lower mainland but sure miss Costco. The Costco buying & quantities applies and is much more applicable to this area... Please come to the Kootenay's.
