As fans of both CW's The LA Complex (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1794147/) and Alex Mallari Jr. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3520506/), we were excited to hear about Alex Mallari's part in the premiere of the show, and were surprised when he was not brought back later in the season.
Furthermore, it is inconsistent in the plot of the show that Chris (Alex Mallari's character) disappear so hastily, especially given their (mentioned) long term relationship.
We believe that it's in the show's best interest in having consistent plot twists to bring back Alex Mallari Jr., and reunite him with Abby Vargas (played by Cassie Steele) in a pending second season. His short part was necessary in setting a backdrop for Abby's character in the show, however feels important in the show's future successes.
