I'd like some chickens in my backyard in Woodridge.

They are no bother. They help the environment by eating bad bugs, fertilizing the yard, prevent weeds and provide food for the families raising them. All of Woodridge should be able to have well cared for, healthy chickens if they choose!

I think we should have chickens in Woodbridge because they don’t cause problems to others.

Please allow for families to keep a few chickens. It would mean so much to larger families!

In 2012 the ordinance called for permission from the chief of police to have chickens as I had them from 2012 -2014 with a visit from the town inspector who didn’t know the town ordinance

Chicken coops not only bring delicious and sustainable eggs to neighborhoods, but they bring richness to the community. Neighbors get to know each other better and their children learn so much!!!

They are great. They are good pets and you get eggs better than the grocery store ones

If dogs and cats are allowed as well as parrots, why not chickens? They are no different, less noisy and reward us with eggs?

The tax paying residents of Woodridge should be able to choose individually whether they want a few chickens with all the benefits or not.
