As many of you know, Wonewoc-Center is the only school in the Scenic Bluffs division that is without a camera to stream and broadcast sports events. This has made it challenging for parents and loved ones near and far to keep up with athletes and their competitions. We are looking to gather interest from those who wish to have the games broadcast. This would help the athletes by allowing them to watch back their games on their own, help coaches watch game tape and make improvements, and help rally the community. When fans can be at the game in person, they are, however, there are many situations where people can't come to support in the gym. Dual sports parents, parents with small children who can't stay up that late, parents who work, friends and family who live too far to make the trek every night there is a game, parents who travel for work, bad weather or dangerous conditions, when people are sick or when they have other obligations that make it impossible to be present. Adding cameras that stream would allow the school and community to come together to continue to support our athletics and activites. Packing the gym is always the preferred method, but it's just not always possible.
