By growing up in the 90's, I have very fond memories of many cartoons. However many of those shows don't hold up as well as they used to, but Batman: The Animated Series isn't one of those shows. It's consistently at the top of Best Animated Tv Show lists, because this show is a seminal piece of Batman's history. For the first time we saw Batman being Batman, it didn't talk down to its audience. It showed Batman fighting super villains sure, but we also saw him doing detective work. The series also delt with Bruce's torment over the loss of his parents. It gave a corny villain like Mr. Freeze new life, by making him a tragic force to be reckoned with. This series gave us Harley Quinn, a character who has since become adopted by the comics, and games. She is also a favorite character to cosplay. The show is so popular that the voice actors went on to voice the characters again in Batman Arkham Asylum, and Batman Arkham City, and those games are regarded as the best Batman games of all time. It would be sad to see this important piece of Batman history to just fade away. I love this show, if you ask any other Batman or comicbook fan out there about this show, they'll whole heartedly say the same. That's why it needs an HD restoration. That's why I'm signing this petition.
