Exactly what Bernie is after, but Mr Mitchell is right on. Something must be done to increase the new and maintain the old fan base. This will certainly become an ambitious project and if lucky, it may even encourage some new engine manufactures to play along.
Here's hoping for a welcome change.

Maybe someday I can realize my fantasy of attending the Canadian Grand Prix and have a cold one in the grandstands with you while we both get goosebumps from the deafening scream of our beloved V10's? :)

I've been a passionate Formula 1 fan since the 80s, attending 7 Grand Prix events during the 90s. It's time for F1 to return to a more passionate level that blew you off your seat. I don't feel the same passion with the current formula. Formula today is not at it's highest level, contrary to what we've been told. I agree with this petition to bring back V10 format with the current hybrid technology applied.

been in 4 continents for F1 since 1955
live in france & usa the last 3 years are a total disaster the sound like moped
go back to V8 or 10 bigger tires
no gasoline limit also
