we want the v10 back. Yeah we know its the future but realize that this pursuit of new engine technology is actually killing the sport we once loved. Yeah, i know the environment is important but no once watches a race thinking about fuel conservation, we watch the race to see our favorite drivers battle it out and listen to the sound of whatever engine their car is powered by. So FIA, if you reading this, bring back the noise.

F1 stands for many things which have been lost over the years but here's a quick list something I sure even Ayrton senna (may he rest in peace) would approve of
Loud engines
Lots of screaming horsepower
Idiotic yet somehow good innovations (tyrell)
Massive tyres
Incredible speed
Potential for loss of life
Acceptance of that potential
The worlds best drivers...
I'd like to see someone tell me I'm not right

I have followed F1 since the early 80's and have been to three F1 races in Melbourne. Two of which had the V10 F1 cars and the last one was the new V6 Turbo/hybrid.
To get me back I want to hear the horsepower, feel the horsepower and see the horsepower.
Please bring back the V10

F1 has become utterly boring since the introduction of the v6 hybrid engine. The sound has gone and so has the spectacle.

I can't here this V6 vacuum anymore. F1 is a race sport not eco race sport. For an eco race sport they've created the Formular E.

I loved watching F1 as a kid, back when DRS and KERS did not dictate who was going to win a race, when it was down to skill alone who was going to win each Grand Prix. F1 has become too safe, and dare I say it, too PC. Races no longer start off the grid under inclement weather, and the popping of tyres has gotten the brass's knickers in a twist. Of course, top of the list is the magnificent scream of a high revving, naturally filtering V10 engine. That scream will forever live on in my memory as a testament to what F1 once was. If Liberty Media wants to make the sport watchable again, this is step one. #BringBackOurV10s

F1 without the sound is pointless.
