I've been lucky to attend F1 races during both the3.0L V10/V12 era and the 2.4 V8 from 2006. My strongest memory on my first race is approaching Monaco from the train station when practice had just begun. We could hear the engines from the train station. When we reached the track, the noise was all encompassing. Please bring this back. I don't see the point of fuel saving in 16-20 F1 cars when the airplanes and trucks use so much. Maybe the teams need to have one less truck/less engineers at the track. Damien McAvoy N. Ireland
