The V10 engines are what gave Formula 1 it's trademark scream back in '89 and since we lost the V8s, the sport has lost a lot of what made it attractive and somewhat mystical to many viewer.
Seeing them return would bring a lot of new fans and even many of the old fans back to the sport.
Another thing to point out os not many care for making the sport 'greener'.
It's about fast technologocally superior cars going head to head for the ultimate prize.

This new era makes it sound as boring as it looks. Bring in 2.5 V10 with electric turbos then maybe it start watching again.

Having heard V10 and V12 engines screaming at the Mexican GP from 1989 to 1992 I can assure you that the sound is absolutely glorious.

I am a life long F1 fan. I went to my first GP in 1973. If things do not change soon I will never go to another race.
