I think this is awful! There regularly are bands and other acts that make far more noise that are not for an amazing charity! What an absolute shame! I participated in the last one, it was a gruelling 4 hours that we all did selflessly to raise money!

Can't see how this short event will make any more noise that the all day Big Busk event which took place recently. Both events are to raise money for essential local charities both of which should really be funded by the State. But in the absence of state funding it is essential that fund raising events like this take place.

Absolutely disgraceful decision. People are raising money for a local charity, compare it to the numerous busking groups on pridehil, there is no way this will be thrown out given enough press. Share on local fb pages and forward to Shropshire star.

why stop it, thats just stupid. When you have all of these other silly events in the square continuously throughout the year that are not for any good causes. Its our shrewsbury square and we should decide, what goes on and maybe the person or persons that stopped this should maybe have there job looked at closely
