Seriously DC how can you do this to wally west??? One of the most iconic and loved characters in the universe and a great fan of while growing up. It is injustice to wally by changing his racial colour and making him so irrelevant (at least it got better from the bonkers NEW 52). I understand that if you want to diversify why not develop characters like static who are originally like that and clearly fit this concern, he has so much potential and can be a huge success as he was underused whilst also had his animated show cancelled. DC please don't this to Wally, let him be the character we all loved and looked upto. Now this is a serious mess, having two wallys and they are cousins??? Just to make it sensible again for their initial mistake, but no!!!. This is just blasphemous ( why not change batman or superman's ethnic background then??? ) This is evidence of not thinking clearly and doing something foolish and idiotic. This really undemines the original's legacy and history who is an already well established character and crucial for DC's longevity like Nightwing. Please let him have his own solo series, this will do justice for the character. And by the way it is not impossible of having two flashes with some creativity. He should also be brought to live action movies and this also is not impossible as (some would say barry should be first) with a prologue showing barry's heroics etc.

This new Wally West is the furthest thing from what many die hard fans had been hoping for. I still for the life of me don't know what DC were thinking in reintroducing an already established character and changing everything about him seemingly to appease a demographic. my question is why not introduce a new black speedster if diversity was the aim goal? as a fan, you almost have to treat this like two separate time lines, except well.. it's not. DC needs to do the right thing and bring back the REAL Wally West, not a fan of a petty criminal taking up as a flash.

bring back the ginger speedster. he was the heart of the flash family for years and this new guy just feels like a lazy reboot.

i grew up reading about wally and this just isnt him. stop erasing perfectly good characters for no reason.
