Not much to say really, the best winegum is gone... How can you do that? When u have something unique, don't destroy it, instead of making them cheaper so u can earn more money, raise the price, most would pay to have that uniqueness that Bassets had.

Nothing else comes close to The original wine gums. The replacement product is goddam awful and I have stopped buying this product. Glad to see a petition to enlighten the producers.

I am Australian and have always enjoyed what I knew as English Wine Gums (Bassett's) Recently I had a holiday in England and bought a packet of Bassett's Wine Gums. After eating a couple of gums I threw the rest of the packet away. What has happened to my favourite sweet? Please bring back the old formula and flavours. I would happily pledge a purchase of 1 kg .

Sad. Mondelez is one brand I will always boycott. Destroying the Basset winegums and adding cheap, non flavoured rubbish instead.

Awful....just awful....had a sudden crawing for the original, haven't had them in a looong time, so didn't know that they had changed the recipe....i was in for quite a surprise....disappointed :-(

Call this free number: 800 055 200 of Mondelez International and complain about the "new" recipe": a very intelligent person on the phone has just told me that if those who complain are really many, they may revert to the old recipe.This has already happened for other products.
