Totally agree with the comments about bringing back the old school routes. It’s just ridiculous that kids are getting to school late and spending more time on buses and not to mention the overcrowding. My kids don’t even want to use a bus now, so I guess that’s more cars on the road.

Gutted they dropped our direct college busses in Maungatapu- we are in zone and more then happy to pay to have our children arrive at school directly and on time as I have for the last 4 years with 3 kids catching 3 different busses. It’s a joke!!!!

The current bus system is a joke created by chimps. How hard is it to organize a bus route from a particular school to a handful of destinations??

It is hard enough for working families and when a service that is paramont to kids getting to school.doesnt work then that impacts on more than the child.. putting kids at risk leaving them strandard at bus stops... shame

The new contract for bus services in our region is a miserable failure for everyone, not just school aged children. If the new contractors cannot provide the services then they should lose the contract ... Simple!

My grandsons bus was late arriving first day on Tues and extremely late after Tga Intermediate finished because the bus took 3 wrongvturns, even going down to Historic Village!!!!! It was 30 minutes late to his bus stop, coming home very upset!!!!!!!

Bring back the free buses! The traffic is out of control. This is definitely a huge contribution. Our last bus routes were much more reliable and were better for our kids. Now there are not enough room on school buses and the bay hoppers require at least 2-3 buses for our kids to get to school now. Who’s idea was this?!?

Children need to arrive at school on time and with as little stress as possible the current circus of a bus system does not even go close to accomplishing this. The bus sytem needs to be sorted NOW
