Please put our children before your cost cutting and bring back the old, consistent bus system. And make all school buses free so that everybody can afford to use them. Why are some buses free and others not?

The St Mary’s bus from Otumoetai is turning up to school at 9.10am, 20mins after school has started. Yesterday it didn’t turn up at all and when we rang up they said “we didn’t send the bus this morning..!”
These are 5 year olds waiting at bus stops around Otumoetai.
Aquinas bus has been dropping my big children home at ten to five (normal drop off time was 4pm?!) and a few times it hasn’t shown for pick up in the mornings.
Very dangerous and unreliable service for our young children.

How many Tauranga City councillors on the Transport Committee and planners/representatives on the Regional Council have children who are now required to catch 2 or more buses to get to school due to a route change. Anyone guessing NONE!!!
