Why do I need to use powerups to beat levels. Difficulty was increased way to much.

Perfectly described, I even sent PopCap an email saying they should implement the old map or a new type of map that's more challenging

I agree with this 100% except for 1 thing. I think the Gargantuars should be put about halfway into the worlds as sort of a midway challenge and the Zomboss battles should be at the end.

"sigh" I love pvz, and pvz 2 was no exception, until some of the best features were removed from the game with this update. The things that I just can't stand are the following: 1. The map change, the zoomed in version of the map made the game seem so much bigger, and was more fun fun to look at, with appealing elements like the star in the background, or the locks and the forks in the road. 2. The removal of locks, keys, and the star system. The whole reason I hate this is because it ruined the grinding/farming aspect of the game, which i'm sure was the intent, but it's what makes games like this, Darksouls, Dota 2, and other games fun, and it also adds in the extra time and increases the longevity of the game and experience. 3. While I don't mind the sun change too much, the change to the waves of zombies is rather infuriating, as some levels are too hard, while others are far too easy. These hard levels also sometimes require the use of powerups, which is something I rather hate to do, as it feels like I cheated to win. So, overall, please revert these changes, because as much as I wanted to buy dlc like the hypno shroom, it just isn'tt worth it now as the game isn't long enough for me to consider.

I really don't mind much but 3 things. 1:Level 7 is *so easy* then Level 8/9 just slaps in the face with hardness...wtf O_o. 2.Popcap wants our money and 3.I WANT BRAINBUSTERS BACK!

Let's not forget they changed it so MUSHROOMS NO LONGER SLEEP DURING THE DAY!!!!!!!!! CONTINUITY WITH THE FIRST THE FIRST GAME IS THROWN OUT THE WINDOW! The game's code showed that mushrooms would sleep during the day. Why'd they change it? Probably to continue the "everyone's a winner" festival.
