In the 2000s, Boomerang was a great channel that reran Hanna-Barbera and MGM cartoons such as The Yogi Bear Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Top Cat, The Huckleberry Hound Show, Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, Tom and Jerry, Powerpuff Girls among others. It was originally a programming block of Cartoon Network in the 1990's.
Their slogan was either "This is Boomerang on Cartoon Network" or "It's all coming back to you".
However, In early 2015, the Boomerang channel rebranded which gave it a new look and most of the shows from the old Boomerang were cancelled.
The old Boomerang channel and it's bumpers and commercials must come back on television very soon! BRING BACK THE OLD BOOMERANG!!!!!

The feedback I keep reading about our favorite classic cartoons proves that this channel still matters to us. I am currently drafting a formal letter to Time Warner to demand a return to the original programming schedule. I want the old Boomerang back with Scooby-Doo classics and Hanna-Barbara cartoons! The blue boomerang was even better when I was a kid to 17 years old. Bring Scooby Doo, Where are you?, The New Scooby Doo Movies and The Scooby Doo Show back! I want to see the original versions than the remastered one.
Hi I am Angelus and I love the old boomerang old shows and bumpers and symbol and theme song. How sad I was when I didn’t hear that song the old boomerang was everything to me and I will sign and sign and sign again until the old boomerang is back the new channel makes me sick. I would love it if Cartoon Network and Boomerang would bring back their older version. I miss the old cartoons they were my childhood. I really hope they look at these petitions and see how many people miss the old shows. The only shows that are on that I know of are Chowder, Dexter’s Laboratory, CodeName Kids Nextdoor, Billy and Mandy, and Fosters Home for Imagnery Friends, but those shows are only on at 12-3am and it’s just not the same. We need the old cartoons back!!
I want Boomerang to be back to its old self and still air both old and new installments of Hanna-Barbera, Warner Brothers, MGM, and old Cartoon Network shows and still keep the current logo, look and bumps make the schedule the way it was before they decided to air more modern cartoons and less old cartoons which happened on April 3, 2017 (2 years after the rebrand) But for now, the only old cartoons we got on Boomerang are both old and new installments of Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby Doo , along with the now ended Uncle Grandpa. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD BOOMERANG, MR. TURNER, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boomerang was my childhood it kept me out of depression but now all the magic is gone and it’s become a lazy shell of its former self all the old bumpers that made me smile is gone all they play is reruns of the same shows over and over it must stop the old boomerang must return please Warner think of us
