I believe that we should be able to wear our cap ! It lets us stand out from the rest and it shows the pride and happiness it brings knowing that we have completed a long and hard journey

The nursing hat should and has been worn as a sense of pride. These graduating nurses should be allowed to cross the stage with their nurses caps on.. Be proud of their completion into a wonderful career...holding up tradition...not going backwards!!!

I understand that there are reasons behind the nursing cap being removed, but maybe we can be taught how to properly wear the caps instead of taking them away completely. As a nursing student, part of the graduation excitement for the ceremony is to wear the nursing cap. It is a sign of completion! We would love to be able to wear the nursing caps during our ceremony when our famiy and friends will see us rather than just wearing them on our own during a capping ceremony. The future graduates should not be punished because of past mistakes in my opinion. Please allow us to still wear the nursing caps for our graduation ceremony!

I graduated as an LPN in 2001. It was an honor to wear the nursing cap at graduation. I think it is so wrong of Norquest to tell the students they are not allowed to wear their caps because they were worn inappropriately last year. Seriously? How pathetic, Whoever decided thisshould really think about how this has caused an upset for this years graduating LPN'S. Why not help the students on how to place the cap on their head? I sure hope this upset is resolved immediately and the grads get to where their caps! :)
