My husband and I just finished watching the episodes that ended. We also watched the previous episodes. Wow, my husband had mentioned that this was a good series - it was is!!! The cast is perfect. I thought wow this is probably the real truth about news - not what we get fed. The episodes are so realistic and timely. HBO, I'm paying for you because you have Bill Maher initially, then Game of Thrones, True Detective, movies, etc. - now bring back NewsRoom because I can't wait to continue to follow this story - it's sooooh present!!! YES HBO YOU CAN DO IT, YOU CAN! If it is the higher ups that said to cancel this program - hogwash! It did take me a little while to watch this program because I don't want to become a couch potatoe - but now that I have found this program NEWSROOM I have to have more. I will miss Charlie though - he is a great actor and will follow Sam Waterston on his next program. I'm sure he could do lots of cameos from everyone reflecting on all his good words. Again HBO BRING BACK THIS EXCELLENT NEWSROOM PROGRAM - excellent story lines and acting!!!!

I have never ever watched a TV show that not only entertained me more than anything else I've ever watched, but that triggered thought processes on a wide range of subjects that are essential in our society and that need to be continued.
