Microsoft Learning (MSL) has decided to end their advanced certifications. Candidates have been given till 1st October 2013 to complete exams.
The following certifications are to be retired:
Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA);
Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM) formerly known as Microsoft Certified Master (MCM).
This has caused a great loss for existing Masters, Architects and the candidates aspiring to achieve these certifications, not excluding customers who rely on expert technical advice for their on-premise deployments.
Sign this petition if you want Microsoft to either: 1. Reconsider their email announcement and provide an acceptable solution. 2. Revoke their decision and promote the program so that it can be a valuable asset to Microsoft, its customers and the individuals who aspire to attain/retain these certifications.

dont bin the credentials that actually hold weight. so much for investing in your own partners and pros.

This is ridiculous. MS is basically telling us that being an actual expert doesnt matter anymore. Bad move for anyone trying to build a real career in this field.
