Bring back JHD award. Maybe there should also be an accounting of the account balance of what has been distributed to each recipient and year.

All three of my children were diagnosed with JHD. All three were advocates for HD research and fundraised until their frail bodies were no longer to sit in a wheelchair. Margie and Marie are gone now. I wish we could have honored them somehow for the 14 years of fighting for a treatment. It is not too late for those JHD individuals who are still with us and fighting the good fight. They need to be recognized and honored for their acts of love, hope, and good fight.

HDSA is committed to maintaining the JHD award in honor of Kelly Miller. In fact, it never went away. It has suffered from a lack of nominations in recent years. We are working to ensure that the call for nominations is better promoted in 2017 and the nomination process is easier. I hope that everyone who responded to this petition nominates at least one person next year. Thank you!

Our JHD kids are an important part of the HD world. People who are working hard to help them deserve to be nominated and awarded just like any others. Please give this award the importance it deserves and make it easy to nominate people.

HDSA: please award 3 JHD awards every year or more. These kids are sick and may never get another chance to attend an HDSA national convention. Let the honoree know months in advance that they've been chosen so they can make arrangements to attend. Move the national convention closer to California, the most populated state, every other year since it's too far and too expensive to travel to the east coast. Change how you ask for nominees for these meaningful awards.

Please bring back this Award and recognition! It means so much to the kids & their precious families/friends. It's the least that HDSA can do for the children. Thank you in advance.
