I had a twin tub before, and my washing came out sparkling clean. I would even boil up my son's cotton nappies, saving on the expense of buying disposable nappies and better for the environment. I have not had any luck with the front loading machines,; the Dyson washing machine I had was useless and my expensive Samsung Eco bubble machine did not live up to its name, with a very noisy spin, long cycles and not very clean washes.

Yes I agree. the Supermatic twin tubs are the best I have ever seen. I have one (old) in France and I hope we will find them as new very soon with their wonderful Girator agitator.

Have been using twin tubs since 1970. Economical, quick, 1 weeks wash for 2 is done in one & half hours.

We have no choice in washing machines today, its front loader or nothing. Many people today would love to be able to have the choice to choose a twin tub. I know I would.
