Mr. G is the best teacher I've had. I am in 8th grade and I have had lots of teachers. He truly cares about his job and his students. He doesn't pick favorites and treats every student same. He IS the best teacher.

Where do I even start. I new Chris Griffith as my 5th & 6th grade orchestra director from Yorkville Intermediate School. He was an amazing example to my class on how to play in a string orchestra & helped me to be the cellist I am today. When us over at Yorkville heard he was, "Let-go," we were furious. I understand how school-boards can be misogynistic in a multitude of ways (i.e. The abolition of Finals here at Yorkville). This doesn't surprise me. I know that this petition may not work. You just don't reason with school-boards. You sit back & try to hold on as they do crap like this. Batavia School-Board, everyone wants you to bring back Griffith. Even us here at Yorkville. Don't take amazing leaders for granted.

Mr. Griffith was my first orchestra teacher. It was because of his compassionate character and honesty that I stuck with orchestra instead of moving to choir. I’ve played violin for 5 years now and will continue to do so for as long as I can. I owe my entire career and enhanced passion for music to Mr. Griffith.
