Bring back the excellent Houston Rocket's social media manager

On April 28, 2015, the Houston Rockets social media department released the following (hilarious) Tweet as their decisive Game 5 matchup against the Dallas Mavericks was drawing to a conclusion. The Tweet drew some outrage from some, and the Maverick's responded with a classy Tweet of their own.
The Rocket social media department removed the original Tweet and then posted an apology.
ESPN picked up the story and ran with it, and now, evidently the Rockets have fired their social media manager.
I understand that the Rockets are trying to be sensitive to the court of public opinion, and, hilarious though the Tweet was, it was in poor taste for an organization representing the city of Houston to make a public statement like that.
HOWEVER, while some form of discipline could be expected, the loss of the livelihood of such an obviously talented and entertaining media manager seems even more excessive.
Let's show our support for the organization to relax it's stance and reinstate this talented and passionate individual.
