Kids today are growing up to be disrespectful, arrogant, entitled, and irresponsible. It is my belief that the major contributing factor to this is the lack of effective punishment for bad behavior. Today's laws against child abuse including spanking as a form of abuse and it binds the hands of parents whose kids need a firm hand. Today if you swat a child on the rear, he can turn around and call social services and turn you in. We need to take the power away from children and give it back to the parents. We need to let our leaders know that sometimes kids just need a good old fashioned ass whoopin'.
