The worst consequence of the writers guild strike was the loss of that show.

Best series I've seen since the original Star Trek (I know, corny by today's standards, but back then it was awesome!) The 4400 is the ONLY series I've gotten hooked on since Star Trek, and luckily it was only a couple of weeks ago, and I had no idea it WASN'T a current series, but cancelled abruptly in 2007?!! What a shocker and immense disappointment! This series has brought me tremendous inspiration, as it REALLY honors the human spirit, and that good old "hero's journey" of good fighting evil, that just makes you feel glad to be a "good" human!! The suspense, the mystery, the constant surprises, area all awesome! The writing, the extraordinary creativity, of EVERY new challenge that arises for the 4400, NTAC, etc, is just BRILLIANT!!! The best I've seen outside of the world of epic movies made for theatre!! Thanks SO MUCH for bringing back 4400!! I'm so thankful for NOT discovering it sooner, and havaing to wait as long as the original fans! You won't regret bringing it back!
