Please bring back bus 170 to Lombard road ASAP. My husband is disabled and he relies very much on bus 170.

Restoration of this bus route is urgently required. The change causes huge inconvenience to residents and the diverted routs follows routes taken by many other buses

The 170 bus route through Battersea Church Road-Vicarage Crescent-Lombard Road served a large number of local residents, many of them quite elderly, who now have to walk considerable distances with their shopping, in the dark and in the cold in an area where muggings have been known to take place, to reach the safely of their home. There are several buses that already serve the route the 170 has now joined, and NONE that come through Battersea Church Road-Vicarage Crescent-Lombard Road route. The SAME 170 buses go under the railway bridge in question, in the other direction, with NO "safety issues" - so residents are put at risk and huge inconvenience unnecessarily for what appears to be an unfounded and misleading bureaucratic edict. Please consider the local residents, their safety and convenience, and restore the much needed route of the 170 through Battersea Church Road, Vicarage Crescent and Lombard Road.

Vicarage Crescent has only 1 bus service for a very large residential area. Without this service along the road, residents have to walk through very dark and deserted streets at night. This is frightening, especially for lone women and makes them very vulnerable. I am one who fits into this category, having been attacked in the area previously. I ask that our southbound 170 bus service be re-instated immediately.

Why buy the bus if it cannot serve the route intended? Very unprofessional - poor planning and no consultation. I hope you will reconsider this decision as a lot of people rely on this route.

Sadiq Khan and TFL are clearly behind this. It smacks of corruption.

This bus is a lifeline for Lombard Road

I am appalled that this could happen without consultation. I am 76 years old and it was the bus I use the most because of its route. Surely the bridge clearance should have been incorporated into any brief for design or purchase.

This bus route is an excellent and vital part of the local community. A very useful route for so many local residents as well as bringing others to the area. To cancel this would be a huge mistake. Large buses are not needed the current 170 size is oerfectlyadequate.

It is unacceptable to stop the only bus that runs along Lombard road.

I am nearly 75 and rely on the 170 to take me home from the city, vis Victoria and take me to and from Clapham Junction

I regularly use this route to visit friends in the area so I know how critical it is to anyone living in the Battersea Church Road and Lombard Road areas

it is completely unacceptable for TFL to revoke the only route that serves that area. something must be done.

This is terrible news for Battersea Square residents. It’s the only bus service we actually use. No tube in the immediate area and heavily used by the elderly and school children. I hope this is temporary. Why can’t TfL just use the original hoppa buses on this route, they were perfectly fine!? Please reconsider!

This is a huge and I mean HUGE blow to so many people; it's more than an inconvenience it's almost a lifesaver. I always noticed in the past that this 'bus picks up more than its' fair share of people with reduced mobility issues, older people, people with buggies, heavy shopping (nearby Co-op) and those needing to get to the train station.
