This is an essential service for the hundreds of people living in the Somerset estate, many of whom are elderly and find the walk to the closest stop on Battersea Bridge road impossible.

Why should residents pay the price for a basic logistical mistake. The 170 bus is a busy and important line for many in Battersea. TFL, please use the old bus fleet until you solve the problem.

I actually live on Battersea church road. It has been a nightmare for I and my family to travel on daily basis. Please have some consideration and respect for local residents.

Bring back the 170 bus route on Vicarage crescent. It is ludicrous that it has been stopped with no discussions with residents. We use this bus nearly every 2nd day & it will really impact us not having it run it’s normal route.

TFL should add more buses to this route rather than remove it. There are many commuters in this area and to walk 4 bus stops away is just unacceptable. Bring back the old buses or replace it with one that meets qualifications. This is so appalling!

This is not acceptable! Lots of elderly people who live in the area would have to walk very far just to catch the bus! What was TFL thinking?!! If the new buses don’t fit the arches in Cremorne Bridge, just bring back the old buses!!

It’s absolutely ridiculous to change the 170 bus route! Just keep old route. Now, I find it difficult to go home because of the new route.
