It is absolutely unacceptable to cut a very residential area from a bus route. There is no other bus within 10mns walk for residents with limited mobility, family with young children and older people but as well people that needed it to go to work. Totally unacceptable!!! It is an inconvenience for everybody in the neighbourhood. The 170 goes in that section along 4 schools (3 of them primary school) and the Royal Academy of Dance. So this change is also highly inconvenient for those institutions.

The 17O bus essential to the people who live the battersea area. Unbelievable to think it's down to new bus. We rely on the only bus that comes down vicarage crescent.

I live at 34 Lombard Road and rely on the 170 to/from work. I don’t see why I should be inconvenienced by TfL poor planning.

I am limited with buses due to working weird hours the 170 saves me 20mins on my journey on a Saturday as I can get one bus and walk to tube to get to work. Otherwise have to wait for connecting bus. Plus I use 170 that I can walk to my other depot I work from

They should have notified all residents on the bus route changes before it changed.

I do not have a car so the 17O bus is my mode of public transport.

Please reinstate the 170 westbound bus route. This runs though an area with no alternative public transport.

Absolutely ludicrous! They are taking away a much relied on service. Not only will it affect The Royal academy students, local residents, guests at the hotels but also the local businesses in the square. Having no bus that serves a heavily populated residential area is a disgrace. I've seen the 170 on Battersea bridge road and thought it was on a short term diversion. Choices are either walk from Battersea bridge or have to swap buses on Lombard road to change direction?!? TFL your over sight is appauling and to think you thought we wouldn't fight for its return! As if the huge Cadent gas works disruption on the embankment wasn't enough!!

It's almost the most useful bus route we have, especially between Battersea and Victoria. Who at Tfl is responsible for signing up for this unsuitable new bus design? Will they be held responsible for such a stupid and unprofessional error? Bring back the old bus -I assume they haven't been scrapped or sold to Malta.

This is the only bus on these roads and is important for people living locally, especially the elderly.

Unbelievable lack of planning and foresight. In such a high density residential area such as Battersea Church Road public transport is essential.

the 170 bus is essential to anyone who lives on the River between Battersea Bridge and the Heliport. Why cannot TFL provide a suitable small bus to do this journey.
