I as a school student have been through 5 years of higher education through SQA exams. Through out these years, you would sit prelims which are practise exams in exam conditions. With these results, if you were to under preform in the real exam, these prelims would prove evidence that in fact you do have the ability to pass or gain a higher grade. This in fact helped me with one of my exams two years ago and was very grateful for it. However with the new national exams, the appeals have been abolished. I am writing a petition to in fact bring back appeals and make exams more fair for young students.
