For those of you who don't know, Southridge has permanently removed the personalized Grad books for every grad class from here on out. They have the software available, we offered to pay for our own books, and spoke out about our thoughts and they have still turned them down :( Vidigami simply doesn't represent our time that we have all had at Southridge. Please help us bring back these wonderful photo books that we can keep with us for the rest of our lives!!

We are approaching one hundred signatures which will trigger a formal request for a sit-down meeting with the administration. Please direct the link to the graduation committee members so we can finalize our presentation materials before we send the official letter.

Did the price go up? Nope. Are the parents still willing to pay? Yup. Boil it down to the basics, doesn’t seem like there should be an issue here.
Most of the students at Southridge have spent five or more years giving a lot to this school through their efforts in academics, athletics, the arts, and more. This gift is a way of thanking the students for their time and dedication, which I believe is something that future students should continue to be recognized for.
I’ve worked on the books and while there are very time consuming to make, they tell the story of these kids’ lives in a fun and meaningful way. They mean more to most of the kids, and many parents, than the school will ever know. It’s unfortunate this tradition won’t continue.
Both of my siblings, Abby and Jack, are both lifers at the school and received this book with memories from Kindergarten. They both still have their books filled with amazing Southridge memories in their rooms today. It would be a shame if I didn't have the chance to do the same.
For graduates and their parents, this book is so beloved. It wraps up high school perfectly. It would be a shame to be one of the first grades in years to not receive this gift.
I was so upset to hear that the school wants to stop making grad books. I totally agree that Vidigami can not replace these books, and they are something that I was really looking forward to help making and receiving on grad night. Please bring back the grad books!
I was looking forward to getting to keep these Grad books which show the amazing Southridge experience, so this news is very disappointing. I hope that they will be brought back for the class of '18 and all future Grad classes!

I support keeping the Southridge Personal Grad Book tradition for the graduates! I know that Crofton, York and Vancouver College do not have this unique tradition! Let's keep Southridge special! Bob Hartshorne
