Bring back scalable live music, theatre and arts to Dacorum

We need a replacement for The Pavilion

We desperately need a performance space for our large dancing school which has been established in Hemel and Berkhamsted for 33 years. Our local pupils need somewhere decent to perform.

We need a venue

We do not need a 2nd multiplex cinema in Hemel - we need a purpose built venue that caters for all different forms of art - theatre, music, paintings, ceramics and sculpture

Dacorum badly needs an art centre and it is high time that we had somewhere suitable to show our art work, a place fitting the area and population

As an artist living and working in Dacorum I would welcome Arts Centre that reflects the importance of the borough. At the moment we artists are either having to exhibit in localal village halls or galleries and arts centres that are well away from Dacorum.

This needs to happen!!!!!

Hemel deserves a decent sized venue..

At the very least, the business case for a new venue must be looked at again. After all, Dacorum Borough Council not only agreed the need for a new venue, when the old Pavilion closed it also agreed how it was going to be financed complete with justification. An increase in population since 2002 and predicted to increase hugely. Yet the borough has less arts, culture and heritage provision than ever before.

Must happen!

Dacourom needs a venue so people of all ages can enjoy the theatre and arts without having to travel miles
