It has just been reported that Rula Jebreal, a foreign policy expert and MSNBC contributor has just be terminated from MSNBC. This termination comes after the prestigious journalist expressed her concern over the unequal media coverage for Israel, Hamasand Gaza.

Rula Jebreal was born in Haifa, Israel and grew up in East Jerusalem. She became the first foreign anchorwoman in the history of Italian television, winning a Media Watch award for her coverage of the Iraq War, and by age 33 earned the highest journalism award, the International Ischia Award for Best Journalist of the Year. Jebreal worked as a journalist in Italy earning a reputation for being one of the toughest interviewers for her interviews with Prime Ministers and Presidents. In 2006 she became the co-presenter of AnnoZero, an important and controversial political television show in Italy. In 2008 Jebreal created her own television show in Cairo, where she filmed episodes covering politics, economy, and the collapse of society in Egypt under the Mubarrak regime.

According to the report, Rula Jebreal, a Palestinian, indicated that msnbc was biased due to unequal airtime for Israel, Hamasand Gaza. After the segment, msnbc canceled all Rula Jebreal's future appearances, leading up to termination.

Rula Jebreal was treated unprofessionally and unfairly. This type of censorship must stopbefore another great journalist, such as Rula, is treated this way.

Please help put an end to this type of censorship behavior in the media and Petition MSNBC to bring back the prestigious reporter, Rula Jebreal for her knowledge and impeccable insights.
